All Things Organized Is:

All Things Organized was founded in 1996 by Joanie Nicholas. I serve the greater Kansas City metro area and surrounding communities. My website address is: https://allthingsorganizedkc.com.

As a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, I follow a strict Code of Ethics requiring complete confidentiality about my clients and email subscribers.

The Personal Data I Collect and Why I Collect It:

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact Forms

When you choose to contact me using the form on this site, you are required to provide your name and email address so that I may respond to your comment or question. I do not retain your information beyond our initial interaction, nor do I use it to send you marketing materials, unless you specifically request that I do so.

Cookies

All websites automatically use cookies, including this one. This enables your computer to remember the pages you view each time you visit this site and quickly show you the content you might be most interested in each time you return here. This also helps me know which pages and pieces of information are most helpful to visitors, so that I may improve your experience with my site.

If you leave a comment on my site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you have visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics:

Who I Share Your Data With

If you subscribe to my weekly Tips & Transformations emails, your name and email address are collected and stored in Mailchimp. Online scheduling is done through Acuity. You can view their privacy policies here: Mailchimp and Acuity.

I do not share any of your information with other companies for marketing purposes or with any groups or individuals. No one. Ever. Girl Scout’s Honor.

How Long I Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that subscribe to my weekly Tips & Transformations email, I keep your name and email address indefinitely, unless you ask me to delete it.

I retain contact information and session notes on all clients I work with indefinitely. This proves helpful if a client chooses to work with me again in the future.

If you participate in a “Hope Starts Here” Discovery Phone Call and/or a “Launch Your Vision” In-Home Consultation but choose not to work with me, I retain your contact information and notes I take during those sessions for 5 years. In this time frame I may check in with you to see how you are progressing on your home organization goals.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data held about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that personal date held about you be erased. This does not include any data I might be obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

You may unsubscribe from my email list at any time.

Where I Send Your Data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
